Yew wood is steeped in history and mythology, used throughout the ages for making English long bows and revered among the Celts for its magical properties.
We see it as a beautiful reflection of our woodland heritage, the firey grain is dramatic and commands the space it inhabits.
This table was made from a single piece of wood split into three and joined using a water clear resin, finished with Danish oils and polished.
Set on satin finished brass hairpin legs the table top measures
1.2 x 1.0 m and rests 30cm off the ground.
Tables such as this are unique creations, commissions can be made to measure.
